It was with great sadness that I searched for the address of Carolyn and instead found her obituary.

She and I had renewed our friendship at high school class reunions and enjoyed sharing memories of those days. Her dog Shammie was a
great joy to her and she loved that I enjoyed playing with him when I visited her. Her family was a great part of her life, Brenda, and I
began to feel that I knew your children a bit.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

This morning as I was preparing my Christmas cards to send out, I came to search for Carolyn's
address and was dismayed to find that she had
passed away this past year. She and I had gotten
together at class reunions and renewed our friendship. She had told me how much she enjoyed
the family of her sister Brenda. She and I both
loved her dog Shammy and she was always delighted
that I played with him when I visited her.

My condolences to Brenda and her family on the loss of this beloved member of their family.
She was a faithful and generous friend to me and many others.

Dr. Fraser was friends with my mother in Harvey and would visit our home. I loved seeing her in her uniform and she was always so kind to me as a kid. She inspired me to become a nurse. May she rest in peace and eternal light shine upon her.
