Dear Pete, Rich and Family,
Even though we only knew your Mom for three short years, she had become a great friend and most of all, a part of our family. We treasure every moment we spent with her and Peter. Both being Polish, we felt we had a special bond and shared many "eye rolls" across the table while others were talking. I continued to learn more and more about her every time we were together. We all miss her terribly and the Lake is so very different without her. God bless you all and thank you for letting us share in her life.

Dear Pete, Rich and family, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mom. She was a great lady and a good friend to my mom, who passed just a month before her. So they are together again talking/arguing politics I'm sure,,,may she Rest In Peace

I've known CAROLE ever since she started working at Coyne American Institute. As a kindred spirit, she was a joy to work with. Of course, we talked politics and we disagreed only once-----She liked DON WADE & ROMA on WLS radio and I couldn't stand listening to them. Now I listen to them almost every weekday.
She was the strongest woman I've ever known----tougher than Mayor JANE BYRNE!
Yet, she had a "heart of gold" and a big soft spot for family and friends. I'm sure that those who knew her were aware of this because with CAROLE, "what you saw is what you got". You could always count on her for an honest opinion and her "word was her bond". She personified hard work and the work ethic---it was in her genes. That inner strength, work ethic and her intelligence contributed to her success at whatever she did. When that strength was tested by the heartaches of the loss of loved ones, she had the "light" of PETER and FAMILY for that boost of love needed to get through those "dark" periods.
CAROLE believed in brevity (except when discussing politics)so I'll end and say Rest in Peace, CAROLE!
