Carol Penn Obituary

Penn, Carol Ann Kinsella

Carol Ann Kinsella Penn, a 45 year resident of Homer Glen, IL, was born July 9 th , 1937 and began her journey to paradise February 20th, 2024. Carol was a deeply loving and honorable mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; the backbone of the family.

Carol beamed with love and boasted of her children Cheryl (Lawrence) Beadle, Edward (Michelle) Kerfin, Timothy (Cheryl) Kerfin, Carolann (Patrice) Roche and step-son Richard Penn, Jr. She was equally proud and loving to her grandchildren Caitlin (Billy) Kerfin Smith, Jade Beadle, Max Kerfin, Alex Kerfin, Eric Roche, Lin-Li Beadle, Macey Kerfin, Jacques Roche, and Clara Roche. She was enamored with her newest title of great-grandmother to Georgia and Hope Smith.

A true anomaly, Carol was the smartest, wittiest, cooky gal around. Her humor and charm were infectious. She may have been petite, but she was mighty! She left an indelible mark with her unmistakable hot pink hair and radiant smile that lit up any room. Her love for life was irresistible, and she embraced each day with the understanding of its preciousness. Carol never wanted to miss out a thing; she lived by her mantra, "Get up, Get dressed, Get out!"

Carol was the epitome of all things wonderful. She took all phone calls at all hours to listen to all stories. She did it with the best spirit and loved to work out any problems. She was the number one fan of all her family. Carol left us with the beauty of these countless memories.

May Carol Ann Kinsella Penn rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of those she touched. Until the day we reunite in paradise, she will be dearly missed.

Memorials in Carol's name to South Suburban Humane Society, 21800 Central Ave, Matteson, IL 60443 will be appreciated.
