Kempiak, Carol Sue

Carol Sue Kempiak, age 75, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 2nd in Gilbert, Arizona. Carol was born on January 22, 1946 to Ruthanne and Robert Minnick in the bustling city of Chicago.

Following her graduation from Amundsen High school, Carol worked at Deluxe Check Printers, where she met the love of her life, Richard Kempiak Jr. They had two sons together, Jeffery and Jonathan, and adopted Richard's two children, Cheryl and Richard.

Carol spent time as the President of Des Plaines Theatre Guild. She also spent twenty-three years working in the health care industry as a practice and billing manager. Later in life, she volunteered her services as Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Buckeye and was passionate and supportive of the Arizona Golden Rescue.

Carol was predeceased in death by her husband, Richard, her sons, Jeffery and Jonathan, as well as her daughter, Cheryl. Carol is survived by her son, Richard, her sisters, Deborah and Cynthia, her seven grandchildren, Amber, Carol, Kristen, Baylee, Nathan, Owen and Tristan, and her great grandchildren, Kaydon and Adylin. Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 4000 South Power Road, Mesa, AZ on October 2, 2021 at 11:00.
