Carol J. Jacques (nee Konieczki) age 81, passed away suddenly on December 3, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Jacques; Loving mother of Charlene (John) Carrano and Michelle (Jim) Bosak; Cherished grandmother of Sara (Jarred Johnston) Lyman, Jonathan Lyman and great-grandmother to Tyler Lyman and Troy Johnston; Dear daughter of the late John and Frances Konieczki; The youngest of six siblings, she is survived by her brother Marvin, is predeceased by her brothers Sylvester and Victor, her sisters Lorraine and Lucille. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, and a cherished friend to many. Carol was always looking for uniqueness in the world, and she herself was beautifully unique. A woman who will be remembered for always daring to be bold few opinions left untold. She had much love for her family and friends, especially her devoted husband of 49 years. Theirs was a beautiful love story; may they find peace now that they are together again. Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge then proceeding to St. Christina Church, 3342 W. 111th St., Chicago 60655 for a Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
