Carol Collins Obituary

Collins, Carol J. beloved wife of the late Frank Collins, Sr., devoted mother of Nicole (David), Frank (Temika) and affectionately Ann Carlock (Al) of Gulfport, MS, loving grandmother of Destyni Makayla and Kalani Symone, Dayna, Dianna and Danielle, dearest sister of Angela (Jerald) and Roscoe (Carol) of Atlanta, GA and special sister to Beverly Williams (Maryland), Jaquie, Tootie and Debbie, treasured niece of Reverend Rosie Jones (Eddie), Ann Anderson (Bennie, deceased), Peggy Jones, James Foster (Pat) of Mississippi and John L. Foster (Rosemary), cherished aunt of Ashley (Poo Poo), Daphne, Kristin and Jason Dade (Adrian). London Town neighborhood mother figure to many children, affectionately known as "Ms. C," will be remembered for her unselfish love and generous spirit. Carol also leaves to mourn many relatives, friends and colleagues. Carol recently completed her Master Program from Chicago State University in April 2006. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2006, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Leak & Sons Funeral Chapel, 7838 S. Cottage Grove Ave., (Chicago). Funeral services will be held at the Apostolic Church of God, 6320 S. Dorchester Ave., (Chicago) beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2006.
