It was incredibly painful to hear about Carol. She definitely represented the great qualities all people should strive for in life: she was always optimistic, caring, funny & wonderful to be around. I was only able to hang out with her on a few occassions, but these made a lasting impression...truly one of the coolest Moms on earth. I am sorry I will not be able to make it home to pay my final respects, but please know you have the thoughts & prayers of countless friends, family & loved ones. God Bless You & best wishes for the future...

Gerry, I was shocked and saddened to hear from Malcolm of your tragic news. I know I haven't been in touch for years, but I have such fond memories of you and Carol. I am so sorry for your loss. My memories of Carol are ones of youthful radiance and beauty, and that great Midwestern character. I can't believe that I am writing to you this way as our first contact in so long. I am sure that your family is as strong and united as it was when I left the area, probably stronger, and that strength and faith will hopefully help ease the incredible burden you've been asked by God to bear. Mary and I have you and your family in our prayers, and we will continue to pray for strength to help you through this.

Though we only met her a few times, Carol was a most lovely and delightful woman. Her sense of humour and her charm were obvious. She worked with my son, and welcomed us with her lovely smile when we first came to visit the office. We were pleased to have met her and lucky to have spent some time with her however briefly. Gerald my sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Carol. One thing that will help you get through this situation is God's word the Bible where he assures us: "Jehovah is near to those that are Broken at Heart and those who are crused in spirit he saves." He also promise you a hope of seeing Carol again right here on a Paradise Earth in the very near future. His words gives us hope that our enemy Death wiil be no more very soon. May these words give you a measure of comfort and strength to endure in this time of such deep sorrow.
