Carol Brown Obituary

Dear Mrs. Atzhorn,
I just learned of Carol's death from a Mercy classmate. Carol and I were also friends and neighbors through grade school. My sincere sympathy and prayers are with you and Carol's entire family.

I heard today, through a mutual friend, of Carol's loss. I went to Mercy High School with Carol.
She always had a warm smile and friendly way for all her classmates. I am sure she will be missed by her family and friends.

It was incredibly painful to hear about Carol. She definitely represented the great qualities all people should strive for in life: she was always optimistic, caring, funny & wonderful to be around. I was only able to hang out with her on a few occassions, but these made a lasting impression...truly one of the coolest Moms on earth. I am sorry I will not be able to make it home to pay my final respects, but please know you have the thoughts & prayers of countless friends, family & loved ones. Gerry, I was shocked and saddened to hear from Malcolm of your tragic news. I know I haven't been in touch for years, but I have such fond memories of you and Carol. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure that your family is as strong and united as it was when I left the area, probably stronger, and that strength and faith will hopefully help ease the incredible burden you've been asked by God to bear.
