In loving memory of our dearest sister Carol: We have so many memories of you. We remember all of the ice cream we used to walk and get. We remember Aunt Normas italian spaghetti. I remember when I gave birth to little Herbie you bought his first baby gift. You were always there for us.
Herbie Jr. said you were so smart, and if he needed to know anything about sports, he could call you to find it. We remember all the times you came to Ky. for a visit. We all sat and laughed and laughed about our memories and all the fun we had. We were best friends but we were truely sisters. We love and miss you sooooo much, it hurts. We will think of you everyday for the rest of our lives. And know that you are , our angel in heaven. God bless you sis always. Our deepest love,
Herbie Jr, Jackie and Mildred, and familes .

Carol was a wonderfully kind and generous person. We became friends at Montgomery Wards a long time ago. Little did I know we would remain friends long after Wards closed. She was a great person to work with, forever looking at the good side of people. I will miss our phone calls and updates on all our Wards friends.
She spoke so highly of her girls and was so very proud of her grandsons.
She will be truly missed by family and friends, but her memory will be with us
forever.

Dear Jan, Patti, Sharon, Barb and Family,
My sincere sympathy to your family.
I have so many special memories of your Mom and they have a special place in my heart.
When I heard of your Mom's passing, so many fond memories came to me.
Mrs Bahnick had a big heart and a kind soul. She welcomed everyone into her home. A huge Cubs fan, always cheering them on.
As kids Barbie and I played together and had so much fun just hanging out or having sleep overs.
As adults, we stood up to each other's wedding and then life got busy and we went our own ways.
Girl Scouts, those were some of the best days of our lives. We had so much fun at Camp Cloverleaf. Mrs. Bahnick taught us everything, crafting, cooking, hiking, singing, camping and everything in between. How about Girl Scout cookies. Her basement was filled to the ceiling with boxes of yummy cookies.
Mrs Bahnick touched so many lives. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of her life.
With Love,

Dear Jan,Patti,Sharon, and Barbie and Grandkids, and extended family, It is with deepest regret that I learned of your moms passing. Was a very strange set of circumstances, As I was talking to my dad, He was telling me that your mother was dying and no sooner got the words out of his mouth that I heard the phone ring in the background and it was Mildred saying that she had passed. I remember the last time I saw her 4 years ago at my my Birthday party and my mom and dads 50th anniversary party. It meant the world to all of us that she was there. We talked about old times and you girls. She talked about her grandkids and how proud she was of all of you. She gave me a bubblehead doll of Earlie. I will treasure it always. I remember all the great times when you all would come down during the summer growing up. LOL, you all would be getting ready to leave and your mom would get the camera out and I would run and hide. I hate that now !!! I mean man what an opportunity to take a pic with such pretty girls then. Man was I an idiot !! I remember the night before the Derby when Harvey and I came over and we spent the night with you all then the next day that Bobby Knecht climbed the flagpole !!!! Then the year Harvey and I came up there. That day at the races think I still remember the name of that horse Elgatso I think. Have the winners circle pic on my wall even. So many memories with you all and your mom. And as the tears flow at the funeral home these next few days. And as you all mourn. Listen to the voices that fill the room , look around for those voices are the spreading of your mothers heart and soul. In each and every one of you. Your Kids , look into their eyes , Look into the mirror you will still see your mom and your dad. For even though they are up above. They are so deeply embedded into your hearts. Let the tears fall where they may. For they are merely words the heart cant say. I love you all. And your loss is heavens gain. I'm sure your mother is already up their with her girl scouts huddled all around her and your dads asking her about the Cubs, Soxs, and Bears..... contact me [email protected]....... love you .... RIP Carol, no more suffering, no more pain..... Enjoy Eternity.... You earned it.. And you more than deserve to be in Gods presence...... The story of life, is quicker than the wink of an eye.... The story of love, is hello and goodbye...... Until we meet again........ Herbie
