Carmen was a very kind, patient and knowledgeable man and I always looked forward to our [many] conversations at the Kankakee and Kane Co Sportsman Shows. He had neat items for sale and always knew much of the history of everything on his tables. He had a real calming and sincere presence and that will be greatly missed.... but most of all, I will miss his deep, belly laugh, jokes and the conversations that we shared. My deepest condolences to his enormous family, all his friends (Olly), June and everyone else.
I will greatly miss you my friend.

To Carmen's Wonderful Family Angele, Debra, Christine, John, Tricia, Carla, and his Sister Roberta, Carmen was one of the best people I've ever met at in High School and after in our younger years. We did all of the moving to Palos and after that, we laid all of the sod at the new home. Lost touch after I moved to Reno, NV. My Heart and Prayers goes out to all of you, May the Lord Bless You

I just could not believe this news. I also lost my mother just the day before. This is so hard. Your father loved you all so much. It was such a honor to clean for and know your father. I will miss are chats we had every other week. He was always fatherly towards me . Always made sure I ate something. Always talking so proudly of his children & grandchildren. When he got a new photo. He would proudly share it with me. He loved the get-togethers with his family & proudly talk about them. Fishing, he loved it and being with his friends on his trips.Telling me funny parts. I will miss our talks and him very much. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I understand what you are all going through. God Bless you all

Sending so much love to all of your family. Carm was one of the good ones. We were very close friends over the 30+ years that we've known each other. So many good times to remember. I could always get a deep belly laugh from him or that side eye look that always made me crack up laughing. Damn, I'm going to miss him so much. Especially that big caring heart & those huge hugs. Holding memories of him in my heart today & always.
