Carla would have been so proud of her sons and her husband today. She was such a sweet and kind person and so devoted to her family. We (all the Tribune people)will all miss her so much and will never forget all the laughs she gave us through the years. Her struggle was long and hard, but she never complained. She wastruly an angel on earth and we are all so glad that we were able to share the experience of knowing and loving her. God bless you all!

Whenever we met Carla, she was always so upbeat about life, even in the face of her extended illness. She always had a kind word, always wanted to know how we were. She was a courageous lady.
