I worked with Carl for several years, and got to know Mark when they were both living on 31st Street, and got to know Al when they were all living on Tripp. Carl and I shared the bond of music and guitars and we regularly spoke after they moved to Michigan. I know of so few brothers who were as close as those two -- and I can still hear their laughter as we sat on the fire escape outside their apartment. They will be missed.

My heart goes out to the Pakish family, and all of Carl's and Mark's buds...
