Carl Luft Obituary

Dear Rita: Although I met Carl only a few times, his love of life, family, and history (and genealogy) were unmistakable. You and your family are in my prayers.

To Carl, Norine and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Over the years, Norine has told us so many great stories about your Dad, we know that he was a wonderful man. Please know that you are in our prayers.

Kevin and family,

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I remember your dad during my last summer in Chicago(1984). He was a genuinely a nice person.

Our sincere condolences to my old
friend Kevin, and the entire Luft family. Fritz was a great guy, who
treated all the guys who flocked to play pool at the house like family.

Aunt Rita, Carl, Peggy, Martin, Susan, Kevin and families;
Jerry and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Fritz. You all are in our prayers. I am glad we had the chance to visit this past July. We hold such fond memories.

From Martha ("The Quiet One") and Mike ("He's A Bowler!"), our thoughts are with each of you on the loss of Fritz. A nicer man we never met. He was always there for others with a joke, encouragement when he sensed you were down or a story or two to make his point when he thought he had some of life's lessons to share. Despite occasional mumblings about chores he pretended to dislike or long road trips to help garner the annual Christmas gifts, his devotion to Rita was obvious and a great example. And there's something from Fritz in each of his children -- and it's something good. God bless you and watch over you, Fritz.
