I just found out today about Candaces' passing. She was a coworker at The King Home for many years and a friend in "the program". Her beautiful smile will be missed by many.

Bill
I know these last few weeks and months have been difficult and I know as time passes you will remember the happy times and not the last several weeks. The Memorial service was beautiful and though I did not know Candace well , she was loved very much by her family and friends. May God Bless you and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Uncle Bill, Cousins Brent, Chris & Lindy -
I am embracing all of you from the distance in my thoughts and prayers. Last night, I reflected on some of the wonderful memories I will cherish of my time spent with Aunt Candace. What a remarka ble woman! I will forever cherish her graciousness and the kindness she showed me as she welcomed me into her home and into her heart. I will forever remember dinners at the house and her unique ability to make everyone around the table feel special and welcome. The memory I most cherish is also one of my favorite memories from Chad and my wedding day - Aunt Candace smiling playfully as she joined the children and helped them with their crafts at our reception. I know Candace has touched many lives -- I am thankful I was blessed in this life to know her. While I will miss her dearly, I will cherish the wonderful memories she has left us. I love you all and wish I could be there during this time. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Candice was a joy to all the men at the King Home and their families, like us. She was so special to our father, John. I know he was waiting with open arms to welcome her and show her around! She will be missed by so many.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I extend my condolences to you. Candace had a way of making the joys of life contagious. I worked with her at Presbyterian Homes and appreciated the happiness she so willingly shared and inspired in her colleagues. No one who knew her will ever forget her charm and warmth.I pray for your continued strength and courage.

I have worked at Presbyterian Homes on the Evanston campus for 10 years and this is how I met Candace. What a doll! I always looked forward to seeing Candace at our meetings and little parties. She had such a wonderful sense of humor, was so devoted to her "Home of Kings" and such a lovely, lovely lady. She has been and will continue to be in my prayers. She will be missed by many.

Candace was a lady of grace and laughter, of passion and compassion, of caring and joy. She lived life to the fullest and adored her men - her husband, Bill, her sons Brent and Chris and her grandson, Nicholas and loved Chris' wife Lindy as a daughter. She brought joy and laughter to her friends. She will be missed and remembered by her family, friends and admirers.

Bill and family -
I've lost a true friend and golfing partner. She was an inspiration to all including the "program " people she touched. I know she is with the big meeting in the sky, and cheering on us while we wait our turn to join her.
Love and heartfelt best wishes.
