C.R. Kopp Obituary
Kopp, C.R. "Jack" age 83, of Winnetka and West Palm Beach, FL, died Sunday, June 27th, at Evanston Hospital. Retired CEO and Chairman of the Leo Burnett Company and World War II Veteran. Beloved husband of Jenna Lou and the late Dorothy, loving father of Jeff (Barbara) of Toluca Lake, CA, Deborah Poulin (Gary Hirsch) of Chicago, the late Barbara Kopp, stepfather of Sally (Clement) Wood of New York and the late Susie Simon, grandfather of eight. Memorial service Wednesday, July 7th, at 11 a.m., at Kenilworth Union Church, 211 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth. Interment private. Memorials may be made to Palliative Care Center and Hospice of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201. I'm a former Burnetter, and consider myself very fortunate to have joined the agency when Jack Kopp was CEO. It's people like him, who by upholding Leo's high standards for excellence and integrity, made the agency what it was. My deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.
