Dear Aileen, Janet, Skip, James, Geraldine and Families,
My heartfelt sympathies to you all. Although I didn't see Burt that often at the dental office, I treasured our talks and many laughs. The last time I saw him he gave me a big hug and told me how proud he was of me and where I have become in my life. He always asked how my family was doing and I'm sad he didn't get a chance to see our new addition to the family, Sofia. He was an amazing man and will be sorely missed.

A man who will be greatly missed by those who were priviledged to know him and share his wisdom. Pragmatic but caring, sensitive but realistic and a gentleman is the finest sense of the word. Our heartfelt sympathy to Aileen and the family.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Burton: you taught me so much about our field, our profession, our advocacy efforts and our need to move forward intelligently. So much to now pass along, where shall we begin? One step at a time and we shall make it. Bless your family during these difficult times. We know your next journey will be filled with opportunities for you to share and serve! Miss you, much love, Marsha and Karen

Burt,
Thank you for being you. There may have been Tuesdays with Morrie, butWednesdays with Burt was my most valuable conduit to a different way of looking at things.
Thank you so much for everything you helped me do to secure a better understanding of "the best interests of the child" for Shannon.
I will miss you always,... and am so grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from you and love you. Your lessons will always be a guidepost for me.
God bless your journey.
In loving memory,
Patrick Dunn
