I will miss Burt a lot. Even after he dated my mom, they continued to have a strong friendship and we had him for every Jewish holiday and he loved my jello molds. I would be very careful when making them and always had Burt in mind when doing so. He would always come early and bring appetizers from Myron and Phil's. He would play hearts on the computer while he drank his orange Crush and watched sports until it was time to sit down to dinner. I will miss him very much. He was a great and sweet man.

My cousin Burt lit up any room he entered. As a child, I loved his warmth, humor, generosity of spirit and even his teasing. No family gathering was the same without his smile and laughter. Later, I appreciated and cherished his loving participation at the bat mitzvahs of my daughters, Sarah Anne and Grace Pearl. He seemed to enjoy the events immensely, and his joy was infectious. Each time, he completely charmed my very large family of Irish inlaws. I will miss him very much in 2010 when my youngest daughter turns 13. There will be a space on the dance floor no one can fill.
I sincerely appreciate all the many kindnesses he showed me and my family. I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences to all family and friends.

My family and I will always remember Burt with so much love. We spent all the Jewish holidays together at my home and Burt would love to be there early, playing hearts on the computer, relishing the dinner, especially the brisket and jello molds! He would always bring a huge amount of appetizers from Myron and Phils. Burt was a significant other to me at one time, and a best friend to me for the last 7 years. I will miss him so very much, his huge heart, generosity, and love of life.
