Young, Bert C. age 84, Army Veteran WWII, found peace on Monday, May 15, 2006, at his home, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Herrmann), loving father of Kathleen (Paul) Witt, Karen, Bert C. Jr., Helen (Greg) Palutsis, Joseph, Robert (Diane) and Mary (Patrick) McDonough, fond brother of James Young and the late Lillian Jacobson, proud grandfather of 16. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2006, at The Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Marklund Foundation, 15450 Wyatt Dr., Geneva, IL 60134. Arrangements by: Cremation Society of Illinois. Info: 847-577-6505.

Aunt Rita and family, Uncle bud was one of the greatest men Ive had the pleasure to know. I really learned many things from him, and I am forever greatful. I will miss him, howsomever I do have many good memories to remember him by. Rest in peace Uncle Bud.
