I always appreciated Bruce as my dad's office partner for Farmers. I heard many of the names as he created his book. I remember him being impressed by me knowing where 100 feet was. He walked out to measure by his gait. He was also very funny. In retirement he used to call dad or stop by. He will be missed.

Having grown up at 701 Maple Ave in Downers Grove, I got to know the Rutherford familty quite well. Ross & I became fast friends at age 4. fortunately I also got to know Bruce. Although older he would take the time to be with us. He was a fine athlete and a gentleman. So it is with regret and condolences I say goodbye to Muffs.
