Chris,
I wanted to express our heartfelt sympathy for the recent passing of your father.
From what I read, his life was blessed with a loving family, wonderful friends and respectful work colleagues. Still, his life of 70 years was too short.
In the Orthodox Church, we have memorials services for those who have died in Christ, forty days after and then again on the anniversary date each year. Prayers are offered and hymns are sung, one which contains the refrain, "may his memory be eternal" concerning the departed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Ann, your children, and the entire Johnson family during this difficult time.
May his memory be eternal!
Sincerely,
Rose Martin

My father and mother had 6 children and when their days here were compleated we lived in 6 diffrent states. From washington to Illinois to texas and diffrent states in between so we mostly grieved alone.
You are so blessed you don't have to. You will be able to cry, laugh and sing together. Gayle and I will sing yankie doodle dandy often to honor Bruce and remember the Johnson's. David & Gayle

Dear Johnson family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of your husband and father. I had the honor of knowing him for nearly thirty years. He truly was a wonderful man and a pleasure to be around. I never, ever saw him get angry. A true gem. I will miss him, along with everyone else at Bob O'Link. He and all of you are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss, he was a person who I respected very highly because he always listened and didn't judge. He always had a way of remaining calm and keeping everyone calm around him.. And he was FUN! He was a a big part of my high school years and I am sorry that I have fallen out of touch and I am sad for your loss..my thoughts and prayers are with you all...
