I remember his brilliant sense of humor and great laughter.

So sorry to hear of Bruce's death.

Deepest sympathy from the Engler family.

I have within the past hour found out about the loss of Bruce and it is unfortunately too late for me to attend the memorial service in Palatine.

Bruce and I first became friends when we worked together at the Northern Trust Bank, downtown. We had many fun times during those years.

It wasn't until 1978 that we re-connected when we met at a party given by a mutual friend. We have been in touch since, except for the last few years.

I would like to tell the family that there wasn't a kinder, more generous and thoughtful person than Bruce. I will never forget the sound of his belly laugh and the sight of his huge smile. He made me funnier than I naturally am, just for the pleasure of hearing him erupt.

My prayers and kind wishes are with the entire Duncan clan.

There are not words eloquent enough to express my sorrow at your loss. Please be consoled by memories of his excellent and full life.
