Brian Stone Obituary

Brian C. Stone of Lemoore passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 in a Hanford hospital at the age of 51 years.

Brian was born in Mt. Vernon, Washington, and had lived in this area for the past 50 years. Brian was a former concrete transfer driver but became disabled 20 years ago as the result of a traffic accident. He enjoyed NASCAR, hockey, golf and the CB radio.

Brian was a quadriplegic but even with his disability he managed to master computer skills and met people from all over the United States. He was a fighter and never gave up. Brian was also a wonderful father and husband and had a great personality. He never lost his sense of humor. Brian and Phyllis would have celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on April 4th.

Brian is survived by his wife, Phyllis Stone, of Lemoore; two sons, Brandon Stone, of Fresno, and Brian Stone Jr., of Lemoore; a daughter, Valerie Stone, of Lemoore; a brother, Michael E. Stone of Oregon; two sisters, Nadine Olivas of Lemoore and Pam Wakefield of Alaska; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Stone; and a brother, Larry Stone.

A graveside service will be at 9 a.m., Thursday at the Lemoore Cemetery.

Remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 381, Hanford, CA 93232 in his memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel in Lemoore.

Phyllis want can i say but i love you with all my heart. the love that you shard with Brian is endless.When Brian brought you home for the first time i said to my self that there like night and day but the more you were together I see that you were his light in the dark that he was in. thank you for being apart of his life for 26 years please don't foget me because you will always be the light in the Stone Family I love you sis Nadne
