Memories and Condolences
for Brian Keefe

Not sure what to say?

July 10, 2019

I think of Brian often. He was a special patient to me. I was honored to be one of his nurses. He helped me design a patient teaching tool for central line catheter care that I still use today. When visiting the Orland Public Library I always take a peek at his memorial brick out front and smile in his memory. May his family have nothing but warm memories today.

Dear family members,

It's been almost two months since Brian passed away. I knew that this book is up for a year and that I would come back for a look later. Today, I was at another guest book for someone that I had known briefly who just passed away. That is what prompted my return here.

I think about Brian a lot and miss the fact that I can't have a conversation with him any more. I think that I miss that more than I miss him, because he is both a part of me and inside me anyway.

I have a trove of special memories for my older brother and have decided to use this forum to say Hi! to him once in a while. It will be a little journal. I'll be back.

Anne, Janet, Nancy and Family:

I was away when I learned of Brian's death. Each and every nursing visit, Brian would share such fond memories of all of you. He loved you so! He absolutely adored his grandchildren! I don't need to tell you that though. Brian was never afraid to show his love for those around him. Anne I was especially touched I believe it was last Valentines Day when Brian could not decide what flowers to get you so he got you several different bouquets! I will always remember Brian with fond memories. He touched many lives, including mine for the short time I had the honor of caring for him. I will keep you all close in my heart and prayers as you work thru this difficult time. God bless you.

Anne and family,

Savor and nurture all your memories of Brian; they will surely bring smiles to your faces in this difficult time. Brian and I worked together at MVCC for several years. He always brought a special touch to the T building and to our meetings.

I am so sorry to hear about Brian’s passing. I worked with Brian at MVCC, and he was such a nice, kind man--a big teddy bear. My prayers go out for Brian and to all of his family.
