I wanted to update you all on how Brian's generosity and love for life have continued.

Brian's right kidney went to a 17-year-old boy from Greece. He suffered from high blood pressure and he had waited 6 months for his gift of life. Brian's left kidney went to a 15-year-old girl from Illinois. She had receieved a prior kidney transplant that had failed and she waited nine months for her new transplant.

God bless you all, and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Sometimes it is hard to believe that Brian is really gone. I always thought that when we got to Chicago, Brian would jump out and say, "Just kidding." It was different, though. Everyone was wearing black and crying. I saw Brian in the casket. To me, he just looked like he was sleeping. I had hoped that he was sleeping. then I realized that all I could do was to pray for him and Sue and Nate. And I always do, and always will.
