Brian Barry Obituary

Barry, Brian William 18, of Coralville, died Sunday, September 28, 2003, due to injurues suffered in an automobile accident. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 1st, at 10 a.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church with Reverend Kenneth Kuntz officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30th, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Lensing Oak Hill, in Coralville, 210 Holiday Rd. Memorial donations may be made to the Brian Barry Memorial Fund. Brian was born December 2, 1984, in Hinsdale, IL, the son of William and Jeanette Maczko Barry. He graduated from Iowa City West High School in 2003, and was currently a freshman at the University of Iowa. He participated in Alliance soccer and was a member of the West High soccer team. Brian is survived by his parents, William and Jeanette Barry of Coralville; one sister, Christine Barry of Bloomington, IL; two brothers, Jonathan and Matthew Barry of Coralville; a grandmother, Dolores Lewis of Lisle, IL; an aunt, Cathleen Lewis of Naperville, IL; and three uncles, Mark Lewis of Chicago, IL, Bob Maczko of Prospect Heights, IL and Len (Sue) Maczko of Schaumburg, IL. He was peceded in death by his grandparents, Stephanie and Edward Maczko; a grandfather, David Barry and an uncle, Patrick Barry.
