The day that my parents adoption of her was finalized and they carried her down the steps to meet me and our Uncle Bob to go home. She was my new baby sister.

Brenda was a sweet, caring person. I worked with her at St. Mary's. God Bless you Autumn and Ashley and Brandon.

I cannot remember not knowing Branda.. We grew up in church together. My mom was her Sunday school teacher for years. they develop a great friendship. My mom's mother died on Easter when I was 7 or 8 years old. Brenda wanted to send her an Easter card so her mother helped her send it to my mom.Brenda never missed sending her an Easter card after that.I think that's remarkable. My mom now and her 80's was talking yesterday about how she would miss that so so bad..My wife suffered a brain aneurysm back in the year 2000..She was in St Marys.while we were in the Surgical waiting room.Brenda brought out warm blankets for the family without us even asking.. Then she found the right person to set me up with a room where I could be next to my wife while she was in ICU..I think that's remarkable. Brenda and I have a love for animals. She would often call me about a stray cat or dog or squirrels or possum that she had found and had a question about. which normally I had a answer..Then I would get to talk to her about a problem that was going on with me that only she could understand in that caring way and talk me through it. But she would always say pray about it. I know that's what gets me through. I think that's remarkable When I would get off the phone with her I knew that I had somebody in this world that cared about me in the way I need cared about and truly would listen to me. I think that's remarkable. I wished I had the ability to care the way that she did.Actually I wished the whole world had the ability to care the way that she did.. WOW can you imagine how much better it would be. I think that's remarkable.. There will be a hole in my heart and my family's heart.. But I know that someday I will see her again.. I think that's remarkable.. But I know definitely her presents on this Earth was truly remarkable!!! I will miss you my friend.
