Dear Dorothy, Roy and Family,

We were saddened to read of Bradley's death. He sounds like a remarkable young man. Of course he would be, raised in a family where love and individuality would be valued and nurtured. Our hearts ache for you, and our prayers commend you to the One who gave us life and sustains us in our grieving. We send you a favorite poem by Victor Hugo...Be like the bird, who halting in his flight on limb too slight, feels it give way beneath him, yet sings, knowing he hath wings. We know you gave Brad strong wings. Love, Faith and Bob

When I left Chi-town to live in England, little did I know that the last time we met would be the last time we met on this Earth, full stop.

I hope you are up there making new harps for the angels and mending the old ones whenever they need it.

We drank in the kitchen, Knew no competition, Each knowinng the other Was a good friend to have. I didn't see him as much as I should have, the last couple of years, though I called him on his last birthday. Boy do I feel punk.

Dear Mr. & Mrs Larson, our old friend Jodie and the entire Larson family,

I am in contact with Dave (Swanson) often and only recently heard the sad news about Bradley. Having lost my own brother, Jeff, a few years ago, I deeply feel your sorrow. Sorry we could not make his memorial on Saturday. We remember him fondly and send our condolences to your entire family. God bless you all. The Goodchilds

I am deeply saddened to learn of Bradley's death. I'd like to share a story that demonstrates his generosity...in May 2004, I was involved in a recording project. Our contrabass player had arrived from California and was dismayed to see that one of the wooden pieces had fractured during travel. We frantically tried to locate someone who could repair the bass so that Miles could rehearse and record with us. We were relieved to see that, even after 10 p.m., a light was on in Bradley's shop. He graciously welcomed us and repaired the instrument without charge, even giving Miles some extra adhesive to take along. I will never forget this kind act, which was truly indicative of Bradley's reverence for musical instruments and musicians.
