I just learned of the lost of my dear friend from high school. My heart hurts for her and all who loved her as she died so young. We worked together at Osco Drug and I spent time at her home getting to know her family and her grandparents at Ivy's Sweet Sixteen. I remember Bonnie as a vibrant,mart and loyal friend. I can only think of the first line of the book "The Road Less Traveled" - Life is difficult".
I shall pray for Bonnie's soul and for her family and friends and my the happy memories be of some comfort to all.

Bonnie, I tried to find you for years and I'm so sorry the last time I heard from you was the wedding invite to the wedding at the Drake.

News often travels slow, no less painful. I learned of Bonnie's death from the Pastron's; last evening. My sympathy to you Mrs. Schmidt, Julie, Nancy, Ivy, and families. Ellen Brin Divita, Union, IL.

To the family and friends of our beloved Bonnie. The pictures are of the Ditka girls enjoying an evening on Bonnie and Stephen's boat on Lake Michigan. I want you to know I will miss Bonnie and she will always remain in my heart forever. As we often told each other, "until we meet again."

These are the Ditka girls. We would meet to laugh and enjoy each others company. It won't be the same without our friend Bonnie. She will be greatly missed.

To Lois and all of the Schmidt family,

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Bonnie's passing. Although I had not seen her in many years, she was once very dear to me and played an important role in my life. My heart goes out to you all - with great sadness and much love.

Bonnie was a wonderful, caring and warm person. I will always remember her smiling and laughing with me while I did her nails or when we were out spending time together.She will remain in my heart forever.

Mom(Shirley Fagel) just shared the sad news with me. I remember Bonnie well. I was fortunate to know you all when I lived with Aunt Bea and Uncle Maurie all those many years ago. May you be comforted at this very tragic and sad time.

Steve, Chris and I could not believe the news when we first heard it and could only think of one thing...that she would now be hanging out with Doodles. She was alot of fun and the times we were all together we had a great and memorable time. Our sympathies to you and the Schmidt family for such a tragic, tragic loss.
