Although I have not seen Bob for many years, he was a good friend as we grew up together. He was a significant positive influence during those years. He made a positive impact on the world and he will be missed.

Bob was soft spoken, kind hearted with a terrific sense of humor. He was one of life's true gentlemen. I was privileged and honored to have worked with him.

I first met Bob when Asplundh lost a portion of the Com Ed contract in the south suburbs in the early '80s. [Were the hell is Elmhurst?] Beginning the first morning with this laid back, cheap cigar smoking, crossword puzzler, I knew instantly this man is going to make my 90 minute commute much easier to endure. In my 34 years in the trade I can't recall half of the trimmers who have come and gone. Bob was definitely an unforgettable guy. After getting transferred closer to home, I still managed to occasionally see Bob by roping him onto the Negotiating Committee for the Union. He was a wonderful man. My most sincere condolances to the entire family. I'll miss you BeBe.

Kathy, Tristan and Jordan,
I'm so very sorry to hear Bob had passed away. He was a great great man to know. And a kind soul he always seemed to be a guy with out a care in the world. I new Bob from work about 20 yrs. My Brother Russ knew Bob for most of his 34yrs.
And as like other tree trimmers that have passed away before . Believe me when I say his name will live on and be spoken of for many many years to come. As one of our fellow brothers and there will always be great storys to tell and memories to share with others of all the times we spent working with him.
Know Bob is at peace and holding his daughter smiling down on all of us. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate his life. And know he left behind so much of himself.
Take much comfort in knowing that now you have two very special guardian angels to watch over you and your family.
We will all be sad for our loss but should all so be celebrating a man with a life that was vary well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
A man is measured not by what he owns or by what he can or can not do. But by the hearts and souls he touches in a life time
Bob did just that he touched every ones heart and left a lasting memory with every one he came in contact with. That is what every one will keep with them in there heart.
May your family feel his love every time the sun touches your faces.
Bob,
May the good lord take you home to hold your daughter.
You will always live on in our hearts and prayers.
With much love and respect.
one of your many friends
