Loncar, Blago age 70, born in Hercegovina in 1936, late of Chicago. Beloved husband of Jitka, loving father of Robert (Cheri), Marko and Marijana (Eddie Slowikowski) Loncar, devoted grandfather of Alex, Brandon, Jacob, Taylor, Andre, Jack and Grace, brother of Anka Dugandzic, uncle, nephew and cousin of many in America and Croatia. Visitation Monday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Tuesday, December 5, 2006, 8:45 a.m. prayers from Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to Sacred Heart Croatian Church, Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, tax deductible donations to Croatian Women Branch #1 Chicago, 2241 N. Janssen, Chicago, IL 60614, would be appreciated. 773-731-2749.

It is with great sadness and sorrow that I hear about the loss of our dear friend Bob. Bob was a smybol of strength and courage, a man who, despite his illness, looked at each new day as a new begining. He was meticulous in his work and compassionate about life. He would give the shirt off his back if cold, feed you if hungry, and give you his strong shoulder to cry on if sad. His willingness to help all people, no matter what time of day or night is a quality few men possess. He has left an empty void in all the lives he has touch and will be greatly missed by me. With sincere sympathy to all his family especially his wife Jitka who has stood by him and given him love, happines, and comfort. May his memory be eternal.
