Dearest Friend Betty,

Words could never express how much I will miss you or how very grateful I am, my dear and "irreplacable" friend, to have had you in my life for all of these years. Your honesty and sincerity was a breath of fresh air and a gift to anyone who had the joy of your friendship. Many seeds have been planted in your wake.

My Dearest Friend Betty,

Words could never express how much I will miss you or how very grateful I am to have had you in my life as my dear and irreplacable friend for all of these years. Your support and "sense of hunor" were a precious gift that I will always cherish. Your honesty and sincerity were a breath of fresh air. Many seeds that you planted are left in your wake.

Dear, dear Friend Miss Betty - I'm so very grateful Mary Lou and I had that wonderful day with you in January. It was as if time had melted away. And now...you are at Peace. I will carry all the wisdom and grace you shared with me over the years in my heart....until I see you again. I will miss you so very much.

Aunt Betty - It's hard to believe we won't be having our chats anymore. So many times when things weren't going right you told me to give in to the sadness, just briefly, and then take a lesson from it. You had such a strong faith and belief system, I couldn't help but learn from it. You often told me when I was missing my brother Michael desperately, I should just talk to him - somehow he would hear me. Well, get ready for some long conversations........ Love, Diane

Dear Whelan Family -
Your Mom was a special friend to all of us Gormans. We will always remember her, but especially each Christmas as we open all of the beautiful "Miss Betty" ornaments she has given to us over the past 15 (or so) years. We will keep all of your family in our prayers.

Betty was, and will always be, our dear friend and an inspirational force in our lives. We'll miss seeing and talking with her, but given the woman she was, we'll never have to miss her spirit. We'll keep a good thought for all of her family and many friends in this sad time.
