Betty Stone Obituary

STONE Betty E. Stone, of Washington Court House, passed away November 24, 2010 in Adena Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold on August 14, 2003. Betty is survived by her daughter, Susan Kempf; and her son, Harold Jr.; sister, Ruth Keiper; three grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. She was a World War ll Veteran and a fifty-five year member of the West Jefferson O.E.S. Lodge #492. She was also a member, past president and secretary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #4964. She is a member of American Legion Post #25 of Washington Court House, Ohio and a life member of the DAV Auxiliary. She was also a member of the COA in Washington Court House, Ohio and a charter member of the World War ll Memorial in Washington D.C. She was a member and a participant of the World War ll Memorial Honor Flight of Washington Court House, Ohio. Military and Graveside Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery, Georgesville, Ohio. The family is being served by the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME of West Jefferson.

Betty E and Harold G Stone were members of the Camp Shelby Chaper of the 37th Division Veterans Association, and my late husband Frank H Lynn was the secretary-treasurer of the chapter. I am sorry to read about their deaths.
