Betty Hedinger Obituary
Betty T. Hedinger, age 93, of Downers Grove, formerly of Bridgeport. Beloved wife of the late John for 72 years. Loving mother of Theresa (late Philip) Naso, Pamela (Richard) Hartig and Patricia (John) Manderscheid. Devoted grandmother of Christina (Steven) Bonnell, Jennifer (Jed) Ayres, Kimberly (Jake) Eyermann, Lauren (Mike) Holloway and Matthew (Cristina) Malusa. Proud great-grandmother of Josiah, Jeremiah, Ruby, Leo, Ellie, Margo, Sammy and Mila. Dear sister of Albert, Benedetto and Geraldo. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings Mary, Josephine, Dominic, Carmela, Dorothy and Jerry. Betty was a caring friend and neighbor, an amazing cook, and a life-long Elvis fan. She will be remembered for her spirited personality and unwavering commitment to her family. Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75 th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. My heart and thoughts are with Theresa, Pam, and Patty and all the grand kids. I remember being real young, a wild child, driving my mom nuts. Mom would call Aunt Betty and cry to her. Aunt Betty always told my mom,"I'll take him home with me",she always said that to my mom. The homemade pizzas, I will never forget those pizzas. Christmas in your basement, plenty of good memories. I will miss you Aunt Betty, but you are now with our Lord and Savior, and your brothers and sisters. Love You Always Aunt Betty Baby Benny
