I am so sad to hear about your mom. She was the best substitute teacher I ever had at Appomattox Elementary School. She had such a way with the students. She had funny stories to tell and made everyone laugh. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Betty Jean. I remember when she first met my Uncle Gerald, they would visit us in Buckingham. I remember watching her as she taught my big brother Mike dance moves. She was vivacious, friendly, full of life. I became good friends with her sister Rita and we were close for several years. I will miss her.

Dorothy and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. You are in my prayers. I remember her for her contagious laugh and always putting a smile on everyone's face. She will be dearly missed but know you will meet her again someday.
