Bessie Perkins Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bessie M. Perkins, of Balfour Drive, entered into rest Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Windermere Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Beach Branch Baptist Church, Sardis, GA. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Perkins, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and a member of Beech Branch Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons, Otis Perkins, Columbus, Ohio, E.J. Perkins, Augusta and Ralph (Elean) Perkins, Hephzibah; three daughters, Frankie Perkins Trent, Ossie Burson and Lula Dean Herrington, Augusta; sister-in-law, Belle Clark, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, 32 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special friend, Marie Simpkins, Augusta and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
