Thirty years ago Bernie and I worked together on a 30-story apartment building at Clark and Chestnut. He was the foreman for Maron Electric, and I worked for the general contractor. Over the past 30 years I thought of Bernie many times. Mostly, I remember his positive attitude, cooperativeness and intelligence. He was a man that knew his work and did it well. The Clark-Chestnut project was one of a kind. Everything was easy because we had a great bunch of hardworking tradesmen and Bernie played a big part in its successful completion. Knowing and working with him was a great pleasure. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Tom Kelly
