Ruggio, Bernard B. "Barney" age 80, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007, surrounded by his loving family . Born February 3, 1927, one of nine children born to Frank and Carmella Ruggio, survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha (Venhuizen), three sons, Bernard (Marge), David (Kathy), Philip (Jerry), one daughter, Susan Ondreja, his grandchildren, Julie, Sara, Jeremy, Joshua, Kaitlynn, Jennifer, Christopher, Kyle, Nicholas and Elayna, his great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Paul, Tyler and Mackenzie, brother, Louis Ruggio and sister Rose McLaughlin, fond father-in-law to Larry Ondreja, loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and good friend to all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Michael, James, Anthony and Angelo, sisters, Carmella Ditter and Lucille Nunziato. Family will receive friends at Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd., Monday, April 9, 2007, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Tuesday, at 10 a.m., from the funeral home to Most Holy Redeemer Church for Mass at 10;30 a.m. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside. 773-783-7700 708-423-5400
