Bernard Penn Obituary

Penn, Bernard L. of Schaumburg and formerly of Park Ridge for over 60 years. Loving husband of the late Jean G. Penn (nee Sloan), loving son of the late Stanley and Josephine (nee Hintz) Pankowski, dear brother of Joseph Pankowski and the late Mae Loss and Irene Kras, loving uncle of many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces. Mr. Penn was a member of the Friendly Squares, square dancing club and the Maine Township Senior Center. Visitation will be at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, from 2 to 9 p.m., Wednesday. In State Thursday, 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Bernie was our wonderful neighbor in Park Ridge for over 20 years. We greatly enjoyed his company; he frequently shared his time and talents with us and our three children. Our hearts go out to his family.
