I worked with Bernie at Comed and he was a great guy to have as a friend and coworker. Bernie had a great sense of humor and made each day a good day. My condolences to the family.

I worked with Bernie for the entire last part of his career at ComEd and kept in close touch with him after he retired. I spoke with him on the phone the week before his passing and he told me he felt fine. I was stunned to hear that he had passed. He was a great guy and had a terrific sense of humor that not everyone knew about. I will miss him and our phone chats greatly! My deepest sympathies to his family.

Don Moritz, Bernie Moritz's brother, is my brother-in-law, and one of the kindest, most generous and loving, people I know. I have met Don's brother, Bernie, and sister, Barb, years ago, certainly have heard news of Barb through the years, included her in my prayers for better health, and remember Bernie to be a reserved, but very nice and loving, man. I was shocked, and very very sad, to hear of his death on New Year's Eve, and I send his family, my family too, all my love and best wishes for peace-of-mind, the ability to console each other, in this very difficult time. My love to all, from Harvey Woll

To Don and Barbara, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bernie who was a childhood friend. It has been many years since we saw each other, but he was in my thoughts many times. I know that he will be missed.
