Dorman, Bernard age 83, beloved husband of the late Geraldine "Jeri" (nee Schatz), dear father of Dennis (Sherri) and Randee Machotka, loving grandfather of David (Allison), Staci and Daniel Dorman, Pamela (Nathan) Curtis and Jamie Machotka, devoted great-grandfather of Jordan Lee Curtis and Lindsay Hope Dorman. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 9200 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), 2250 E. Devon Ave., Suite 244, Des Plaines, IL, 60018. Info: 847-679-4740

We have always held a special fondness for Bernie. Michael especially remembers him doing the old softshoe on the top step of the pit. He will be missed!
