Mr. Bradley,
So many years later and you're still present in my heart. You were the best teacher! You encouraged me to do my memory video for the class of 2001, you encouraged us to use technology, to learn! You were so easy going and you could tell that you enjoyed teaching us! You made a difference! Thank you for just being you... You are missed.

My prayers go out to Mr.Bradley's family, friends and students. I am at a total loss for words. There is nothing I say that can honestly describe the way he has influenced my life. He was such a devoted teacher to his students. I remember being a kid and thinking he had no life because he was always at school. But now being older I can see the reason he was always around was because he loved us. He did everything in his power to keep us intrested and we always were. There was not a day in his class that I didn't learn something new. His class is what made school exciting and I am honored to have been one of his students. He was and will forever be the best!!!!

Bernie was a mentor and friend. We worked together summer and evenings in training teachers to use technology. I learned so much from Bernie and technology was only a small part. He was kind, humorous and enjoyed teaching and life. I will miss him dearly and especially his smile. The picture of him in the Tribune on Saturday brought back many wonderful memories. May God be with you, his family, and may you know that Bernie touched more people than you will ever be aware.

To the Bradley Families- Peace to you all, and strength in knowing how special Bernie was to you, along with so many young people he called his students. Marianne Williamson wrote, "Success means we go to sleep at night knowing that our talents and abilities were used in a way that served others." How fortunate we are to have such individuals like Mr. Bradley among us; his life is a lesson that we all can appreciate but should pass along to others. Yours, Rosemary

To the Bradley Family,
My condolences go out to you. I wished I could have had Mr. Bradley for my Science teacher, but I did get a chance to know him when he was at Newberry. Mr. Bradley was always kind and had a smile for everyone. It did not matter who you were Mr. Bradley was always there. I may have missed out on him teaching me but I did not miss out on knowing who he was. Thank you Mr. Bradley for your energy, joy and spirit.

I was blessed to have Mr. B as my science teacher at Newberry. He touched many lives there; he came in early in the morning to help kids with science fair, he spent extra money on supplies that he felt students needed to expierence the awesome world of science, but most of he adored the students. His smile and laugh is still imbedded in my mind. He was such a kid at heart. Everyday going into his classroom was a surprise, you never knew what kind of new thing he had to show. Mr. B also encouraged me to go to Von Steuben b/c of its great science program. I did go to Von and it was the best decision of my life, thanks to him I had an awesome HS life. He touched many lives and it was devasting to see him get ALS and to retire. But I still kept in close contact through email. I am deeply sorry of his passing, he fought hard throughout the 3 years he had it. My prayers go out to his family. He will be in my heart forever. I LOVE YOU MR. B!

Mr. Bradley was one of the greatest teachers I ever had. He was always such a warm and kind man and I am saddend by this loss. His class was one that i never dreaded and I always looked forward to the lessons he was going to teach. Mr. Bradley truly had a passion for teaching and it's unfortunate that other classes wont be able to experience his style and love for science. Mr. Bradley lives on in our hearts.

Bradley was my sceince teacher in 7th and 8th grade. I'm 30 now. He was one of the best teachers I ever had, no lie. He was a lucky guy to be able to influence so many people and leave so many fond memories.

When I think about Mr. Bradley, what sticks out in my mind isn't a picture of him teaching as much as a picture of him laughing. As seventh and eighth graders we were pretty cocky and self-concerned individuals yet Mr. B had a way of making a joke about us and having us laugh at ourselves. Very few people are witty enough to make an insult funny even to the recipient. Mr. Bradley never let a student find the easy way out. When ever we would ask him a question he didn’t just flat out tell us the answer, he would lead us to a website or show us a demonstration and make us understand. I’m sure all of his students will miss him greatly, as I do, and all value the time we spent in his classroom.

I miss Mr.Bradley so much that I can not even explain it. What I want to do is send my wishes out to Mr. Bradley's Family members and friends. I know that he is in a better place watching down on us. He was my favorite teacher, but he was not only a teacher to me he was my friend. I would talk to him all the time through instant messaging and e-mail. I'm very very sorry for his loss and I hope that everyone is okay. Atleast Mr. Bradley got to live so long with this disease. He was blessed and he fought through this and these are the things that made him the person he was. I LOVE YOU MR. Bradley!

Bradley was one of Newberry's best. He lived life truely to the fullest and will be deeply missed by those that loved him. One could write a book about all the joy and humor he brought into peoples lives. He was a great person to be around and quite the practical joker. His memory will always live on.

He was always offering his help, guidence and love. He is one of the few people that is well thought of and who will be remembered. Mr. Bradley will be miss and will always be in our hopes, dreams, and happiest memories. Our sympathies to the family of Mr. Bradley.

Dear Bradley Family,
I'm a student at Newberry Academy and am aware of how much of a loss it was to lose the best teacher at the school. When Mr. Bradley retired 2 years ago, it was very hard, but it was even harder to lose him all together. He was truly an outstanding teacher as well as a person all together. The Bradley family has my condolences. On behalf of the school, I am sorry.

I would like to express my condolences to the Bradley family for your loss. I did not, personally, meet Mr. Bradley, but he was my daughter's teacher at Newberry Academy. We were very sad to hear about his passing, my daughter (Alexandra) always kept in touch with him via e-mail, so she is very upset about this. Again my condolences to all of you.
Sincerely,
Patricia Bernard
