Retired C.F.D. age 64, at rest February 7, 2005, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Carlson), loving father of Kenneth, Kimberly (Daniel) Engelhardt, Dawn (Michael) Koenig, and Ericka, proud grandfather of Jacob, Amber, David, Shyann, Payton, and Daniel Bernard, dearest brother of Florence (Wally) Strumpf, Donald, Mary Ann, Robert, Barbara (David) Babiarz, Thomas and the late Donna and Richard, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5800 W. 63rd St., to St. Rene Goupil Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment private. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Member of McKinley Post American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Maryville Academy, 1150 North River Road, Des Plaines, IL, 60016.
