Dearest Mary, Lee and Holly,

An angel in heaven now is your little Benjamin William. As parents you were blessed with his short stay on earth. In heaven shall you all meet again as you could not be on earth. God bless you all and watch over your dear, sweet baby boy. Our hearts are breaking with your loss. Our tears cannot wash away your pain. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Mary and Lee,

Though I never had a chance to take care of your dear little Ben, I had an opportunity to meet him as I took care of other little ones in his same nursery room. I just wanted to let you know how much his life and death has touched me personally. My heart goes out to you and your family after this terrible loss. All of you, especially Ben will be in my thoughts and prayers.

With deepest sympathy,

Patti Michels RN

Lee, Mary, and sweet little Holly

Little Ben has left his print in this world just as our priest today at the funeral promised. His short life here on earth has touched his family and friends and as I read this guestbook and speak with people from my town, I can hardly believe how so many people have heard about Baby Ben and have prayed for him without knowing your family. That in itself is a miracle! He has brought so many nearer to God and God is happy. Thank you Ben for bringing us closer to eachother and closer to God.

Dear Lee and Mary,

I am one of the nurses who took care of your little Ben the night he passed away. We are all so sorry for your loss. All of the nurses who knew him really cared about him and will not forget him and his fight. I too hope that we can find a cure for NEC so no other family has to go through the terrible pain that your family is enduring. I hope you can find peace that you will see your beautiful son again someday.
