Dear Bonnie--We will miss Benny so much. Every time he came in to our office, it was like being at Kliros', on 59th and Western! We would be so busy telling 'war stories' that he barely had time for any dental work!! The last time he was in, we were laughing so hard that the dentist next door wanted in on all the fun!
He looked great then, but what I remembered more was his upbeat attitude. He was so happy for his life with you and the kids that he felt everything else was a bonus.
Our 19 year old son remembered Benny, too, because Ben took the time to talk to Adam about cars one time when Ben was at the office. (Adam must have been no more than 10 or 11 at the time!)
As I said when we spoke, the picture of my parents that I carry in my wallet was taken at your wedding. I will always think of both of you, with love, when I look at that picture.

Bonnie,
I am so very sorry for your loss. You may not remember me. I'm Benny's Aunt Rose's daughter Gina. I couldn't attend the wake and wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have several great childhood memories that include Benny. I wish our famalies had been closer through the years.
God bless and take care, Gina.

Bonnie,
We were extremely saddened to hear about Benny's death. He will surely be missed. Everytime we think of Ben's Auto, we think of Benny's smiling face and the stories he used to tell. (Shelly, my husband, used to work with Benny, and I am Bernie's daughter.) We feel honored to have been a part of his life.

Bonnie, I was so shocked to see
the death notice and wish I could
attend the funeral, but can't make it. I loved Bennie like a brother
and had such good times with him all
those years at Ben's.
Love,
Marilyn
