Beatrice Mayer Obituary

I believe it was in the late 1980s, when I met Mrs Mayer. A group of business travelers to Chicago were very fortunate to have a common friend who made arrangements with Beatrice to host us for lunch. There were about six or so of us. The extraordinary venue was her penthouse at the top of the Sears Tower. We walked into the foyer where we were greeted by Warhol´s Jackie Onassis! Beatrice was as gracious as she was generous in revealing the breathtaking art collection and its surroundings. I regard this as one of the most profound days of my life! My love of art and education to that purpose was realized in that afternoon as an affirmation of what I always dreamed of. I will never forget her or that day for as long as I live and will remain grateful!

We would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family of Mrs. Buddy Mayer. Her presence will be greatly missed in our office. She was truly an amazing woman. Warm thoughts and memories... Dr. Cori Walker and Lisa.

The Mayer Family have my deepest sympathy. Philippines 4:6,7 says that God has the peace that excel all thought and guards the heart, may that peace be with your family during this difficult time.

I am very sorry for your loss. Buddy was a dear friend to my mom, Arline Nudelman, and I remember her as such a kind and thoughtful person.
