Barry, was a very special person. He was always warm, friendly, charming, caring and had a zest for life that few people ever obtain.
He truly was one of the good ones you meet in life.
Anyone who had the chance to really know Barry has at least a memory that will make you smile.
Barry had a way of making you believe life is joyous.
I remember as young couples how we would bundle up the children and go to Barry's and Cookie's for dinner. The Kids would playing and Barry would have me laughing with stories.
I remember his 30th birthday, I stood by the white piano in his living room and he and I sang, it wasnt necessarily wonderful singing but it was Barry enjoying the moment to the fullest.
I am sure everyone can visualize Barry on the dance floor, he and Cookie certainly knew how enjoy the music. When Barry and Cookie would dance you could see Cookie was Barry's world, he had eyes for no one else.
Barry found happiness in everything from his family to his work and to his friends.
We will all surely miss him.
To his beloved Cookie, you two were an amazing team. You set the standard for what couples should be.Your children have a road map to life thanks to you.
I will miss Barry and I pray Cookie that your inner strength allows you to heal and rejoice in the life you and Barry had.
With my deepest sympathies and love
Marc
