Hi Honey,
Today is 2 years since I had to lay you to your final resting place. I miss you more today than yesterday and not as much as I will tomorrow. You were the wings beneath my wings and always will be. Your love is something that I will carry with me forever. You and I know that we will be together again to share the happiness that we had from the day that we met. Heaven knows that I feel so out of place, So here I go again. I'm gonna smile my best smile
And I'm gonna laugh like it's going out of style. But you know that this learning to live again is killing me. I Love You Barry Powers. Love Yours Forever And A Day + 1. Love Sharon

Sharon, Jason, Kevin, Bryant, and families,

Simple words can't express how much love uncle Dave and aunt Elaine, and uncle Harvey and aunt Maxine Powers held, and always hold for Barry. Aunt Jean would light up as Billy and Barry would bound through the kitchen door and exclaim "Hey Ma!" Those two were off on adventures in Chicago just like our own fathers, Bill, Harvey, and David. I credit uncle Bill, aunt Jean, and you Sharon, for such a wonderful son, man, and loving father as Barry. Our loving memories of Barry hold us close. I know Barry will watch over us from heaven with all of those Powers, our fathers at his side. They are in the arms of our family. Thank you Jason, Kevin, and Bryant for your father. Thank you forever Sharon, for loving Barry. As aunt Jean and uncle Bill would say,you are Barry's angel. Thank God for Barry, and thank God for you.

January 20, 2008

Hi Honey, Yesterday was a year since I held your hand and told you that I loved you. You told me that day that you loved me and I will cherish those words and the look in your eyes forever. I love you more with each day that passes. So much has changed this past year but the one thing that remains constant is my love for you and how I miss you every minute of every day. I miss our walks by the lake, our winks across the room, our long talks where we saved the world, our plans for the future, our searching for the perfect new house, our dinners out, our picnics where we didn't say a word because just being together was enough, our poker games to see who cleared the table or filled the bird feeders, watering the flowers, going to craft fairs, the phone calls at work, the flowers just becuase it was Monday, and millions of other memories that will be my strength forever. The screen porch will never be the same without you but it will forever hold the memories of our many days and nights together. You were the light of my life and the core of my happiness. Our love was deep and comitted and I will hold on to that for the rest of my life. You truly were the wind beneath my wings and I am forever grateful and blessed for having you as my Husband and life partner. You will never really be gone since you are in my heart forever. I love you Barry Powers.
Love Yours Forever And Always And a Day. Love Sharon

Dear Sharon
First and foremost, my heart goes out to you and your family. We have lost one of the most amazing, warm-hearted, loving men that I have had the opportunity to have known and loved.
Barry was a most forgiving person..... Barry will be forever missed by all those that he had touched with his uncanny ability to love unconditionally. I personally miss Barry, for he was one of the few men who could make me laugh from within.
To you Barry: I love you always and forever.
Thank you for letting me into your HEART and being your friend.

always obvious that you thought the world of him. Be thankful that you had so many wonderful years together and I am sure he will be waiting for you at the gates of heaven to give you a great big hug

I met Barry and Sharon(Uncle MoJo and Aunt Cha Cha) when I drove with their nephew Joe for a visit. They took me in and made me feel like family. You would never have guessed thet I had just met them. Love is something they had for each other and all the people they had in their lives. Though I haven't seen them in some time. I love them just the same. I'll miss you Barry.

My Uncle Barry canceled a surgery so that he and my aunt could attend my wedding. He and my aunt let me live in their house for a period of time upon my completion of school. He loved to cook and I enjoyed watching him. Barry was tough as nails yet could be soft as butter. You will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget the
good times. You'll always be my Uncle Mojo. Aunt Sharon if there is
anything We can do, please just ask.
We love you very much and know that you'll get through this. Love
always Mandy and Joseph Ilmberger
