To Sam and Alison,

My Mom and I were saddened to find out about Barry's passing and eventhough its been more than a year since then we wanted to express our condolences to you. As I'm sure you know Barry held a special place in our hearts and minds, and to me personally shaped the person I am today. The only things I can remember are good things and the way he made me laugh, and sometimes cry from his teasing of me as a kid. I wish I stayed in contact with him, and you guys over the years, but as you know we grew apart and lost touch. My Mom and I to this day still reminisce of the fun we had together and the smiles we shared. We hope you are doing well and wish you nothing but the best in life.

Love,
Steven and Harene(Hari)Berman

We went to Von Steuben High School with Barry and were saddened to learn of his passing. We saw him a couple of years ago and reminisced...We remember him in school with a big bravado, a hearty laugh, and a sweet and sensitive side, if he let you see it then. He was a caring and kind soul. We're sure he touched the lives of all who knew him.

Dearest Nicolette.
There is nothing I can do,
to make him come back.
There are no words I can say,
that can replace the words you long to hear.
There are no answer's I can give,
that will satisfy your questions.
There is not another soul I can introduce you to that will ever replace his
And, there is no love I can offer that will ever replace the love you shared.
I can not promise your broken heart will ever be complete.
I will not say it could have been worse
I will not deny it was a tragedy
I will not lie and tell you he will come back
He never really left
I do promise he hears you when you speak
I will say he loves you no matter the distance
I will not deny he is in the better place
And, he is waiting to greet you some day
He is every step you take
He is in everything you do
He is the air you breath
He is every beat of you heart
" He is like the wind. You can not see him....but you will always feel him."
Love you,mom.

Dear Alison
Words can never express my appreciation for all your love and
caring way of showing support for Nicolette and myself.
I have seen you handle challenges in the past and know you will find your strength to make it through this difficult time.
Your father would be very proud of you, as he always was. ..
and I'm certain that he can rest in peace - knowing that you have Jordan for a husband.
Love.

I miss you right now,
I miss you so much,
I want you to hug,
Even one touch,
I need you to be here,
As you always have before,
I know you'll catch me,
Every time I fall,
I know you'll stand by me,
Even when I'm wrong,
And you'll always make me feel,
As if I truly belong,
You can always make me laugh,
Even when I,m down,
And I cant help but smile
Whenever you're around,
I miss you right now,
I miss you so much,
But I want you to know,
Nothing can tear us apart,
Because you will forever,
for-ever be in my heart.

Uncle Barry Thank you for everything you have ever done for us and help us with. Thank you for your knowledge that you shed on us and thank you for your unconditional love.

Barry and I were like brother and sister for many years. I have fond memories of Henry Davis 400, Sam and Phyllis Brick and the restaurant on Oakton Street. I remember the wonderful home talent show in 1958 when Sam played Zorro and Phyllis was in the chorus line. Barry and I even went to some rehearsals together. My father, Whitey Daniel, was like Barry's second father. My mother, Norma, joins me in sending sympathy to the family.
