Susan Sechrist Obituary

Susan Sechrist, 59, of Winchester, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Sechrist was born in Washington, DC, in 1948, the daughter of the late Carl H. and Anne M. Johnson. She was retired from Winchester Medical Center where she was employed as a transcriber in the Radiology Department. She was a member of Christ Community Church in August, WV.

She married Madison Calvin Sechrist on August 14, 1992, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with her husband is one daughter, Jennifer Robin Barr of Augusta, WV; two sisters, Charlotte Anne Wear of Winchester and Judith Elaine Johnson of Thurmont, MD; one brother, Carl Henry Johnson of Fairfax, VA and two grandchildren. A son, Michael March preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church in Augusta, WV with Rev. Don Kesner officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery, Yellow Springs, WV.
