It was a pleasure knowing Barbara. She was a devoted daughter, revered teacher and special friend. Her stories were endless and her adventures enviable.
We miss her terribly, but she is with her parents now and no longer in pain. For that, we are most thankful.
Enjoy your hikes in heaven Barbara!

Not only did Barbara teach my children, she also taught my husband! I always thought of her as such an independent woman who was capable of doing so many things! She will be sadly missed!

To Barbara's Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with your in your time of grief. I will always remember Barb as a dedicated, innovative, and caring teacher with high expectations for herself and her students. For many years, I had the privilege of working with Barb as a staff member of our 6th Grade Camp outdoor education week. Her love of nature was evident as she helped plan the programs for the children.
May your memories and the memories of her colleagues and friends bring you comfort.

Dear Family of Barbara Wehr,
My sincere sympathy to you, her family.
Barbara was a revered science teacher and friend among many at Lab School.
She has been in terrible pain these last several years, and with the stroke, it is God's time to have her, pain free and at peace, smiling down on her family and friends.

I very much enjoyed working with Barbara when I was a young teacher at Lab. Her no-nonsense attitude and devotion to good teaching was a great model for me. Lab has not been the same since she retired.

To the family and friends of Barbara Wehr,
Barb is finally out of that excruciating pain she has suffered in recent years! What a blessing that is!
She was a fine lady and a great teacher and I was priveleged to know her.
Both of my children had her at Lab School for 3rd or 4th grade science and learned to think!
God Speed, Barbara
