Barbara Stoecklhuber Obituary

March 8, 1936 - April 2, 2017 Barbara Susi Stoecklhuber passed away April 2, 2017 at the age of 81. She was born on March 8, 1936 in Berlin, Germany, to Karl and Gertrud Schure. After the war she moved to Munich where she met and married her husband, Eric, in 1955. They emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1957 and remained there until moving to Edmonds, WA in 1977. She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Eric; son, Michael (Terry); grandson, Kurt; brothers, Peter Schure and Jurgen Schure; and numerous other family and friends. Barbara loved animals, entertaining, cooking, antiques, and collecting anything that caught her fancy. There will be no services, at her request. The family would like to give a special thanks to the kind and thoughtful caregivers at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

What a beautiful picture of Barbara. She was such a wonderful person, I loved receiving cards from her. She was so proud of Mike, Terry and especially her wonderful grandson Kurt. She will be truly missed.
